Mitch McConnell and Ashli Babbitt

The connection between Mitch McConnell and Ashli Babbitt is described in The Washington Mafia by Peter Gazerro. First, in Ch. 1, “Jan 6^th Evidence of Crimes,” Senator Mitch McConnell said, “President Donald Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of Jan 6^th. The author adds that those events include the deaths of Officer Brian Sicknick and Air Force Veteran Ahli Babbitt.

Even with all of the evidence, including the attempted assassination of a sitting congressperson (Pelosi), McConnell and McCarthy created excuses not to cite Trump as legally responsible for the attack on Jan 6^th. Meanwhile, Sicknick and Babbitt’s conditions remain unchanged. They’re dead from taking actions they didn’t know would lead to their deaths. Also, there’s still no justice for them.

Thanks to Trump’s political endorsement of McConnell and McCarthy, they were reelected and continue to serve in Congress, despite Trump having lost reelection.
